Unauthorised payment to JustEat

I’ve just had an email confirmation for a JustEat order I did not place and was ordered/delivered to an address over 3 hours away. No one has my PayPal details so has managed to get into my account even though I have the 2 step verification turned on which sent me no notification that my account had been used. I have tried multiple times to report it in the Resolution Centre but when I try it says I can’t file a case for that transaction. Don’t know what to do and having a little panic..

Check if you had a subscription set up.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

@kernowlass It’s definitely not from a subscription. I’ve had a email from PayPal saying it’s for a JustEat order (as my post says). The email also includes their full food order and address it’s being / been delivered to

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting our Community Forum. @kernowlass, thanks for getting a resolution started on this thread. We appreciate it!

@Carly08, I'm sorry to hear you've run into some unrecognized activity on your account. Have you tried Reporting this as unauthorized activity yet? If not, I'd recommend starting there. You may also want to double-check the automatic payments section kernowlass suggested above just to make sure there's no unauthorized pre-approved payments listed.

Good luck with your case,

@PayPal_JonK As I already said, it’s definitely not a pre approved payment. It’s from JustEat, a food ordering app. Also I have tried to report it but it’s telling me I can’t do it for that transaction (which I have alway already mentioned in my post)

We know its a food ordering app BUT when you use it x1 it sets up a preapproved /subscription for the next time you want to use it.

So check in there as we keep saying and cancel it.

I have had the same with Uber Eats - someone ordered and delivered using my Paypal and Paypal did nothing. Be careful as Paypal are now letting more unauthorised transaction go through on my account - items are being sent to another state, yet Paypay say it's not unauthorised.  Paypal is costing me $$$$
