I plan to use the PayPal debit card to make purchases when I travel overseas as it can make purchases in other currencies besides USD. I understand that there is a feature to setup a recurring auto-transfer to the PayPal balance, but I think it would be much more useful to have the balance automatically top-up to match what is needed for any given purchase. For example, if I was going to make a $5 purchase with the paypal balance, but it was currently $0, PayPal could automatically transfer the $5 to complete the purchase. All the times I've used the recurring transfer to add money to my balance and it tends to overshoot what I need or not be enough. I am just curious if PayPal has thought of or ever intends to add such a feature, as I think it would be very useful.
