cancelled order refund on its way question

i ordered something of a website then cancelled it within 30 minutes, they are sending me a refund, but does that mean paypal will take my money for 2 months or? even though i won’t be getting this parcel as i cancelled it, does that mean paypal will still take my money. even though i cancelled the parcel and getting a refund and wont have any thing to pay for.

When you cancel a payment those funds can't do a u-turn > they have to process through to paypal who will as the transaction was cancelled return them to your funding source (if you paid from your bank account or with a card), or credit your paypal balance (if it was funded from that balance), but that takes a few days and sometimes up to a week.
