i would like a refund for wowcher subscription and voucher

Hello

I tried to buy a mattress through wowcher, having never used it I thought it would be like everything else, just point, click and buy. I went through the process and found that I had also bought a subscription for one year. Then the postage was added which put the money up on the item. I have tried to contact wowcher with no luck, on facebook and through email. 

How can I get the money back through paypal. I am guessing that I have to report the issue to paypal, as the seller is not responding. They have mentioned on their site a no quibble 14 day money back guarantee but I can not find a direct method of contact. Paypal want certain information about the transaction like my cancellation date. Problem is I can not find a way to cancel my subscription. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

Hello Kernowlass,

 

Thanks for the response. I have cancelled that subscription but I have made a payement of £53.99 through direct debit. I have tried to contact wowcher but they have this very awkward system that looks like some kind of block. Like they don't want to make it easy, maybe my paranoia. I went on their site and clicked preferences, it was a cycle of five pages saying five reasons not to leave and that is it. No actual preferences to change. I have sent another email to each address I can find. I got a response, that again seems like a distraction, either to slow me down or just completely confuse me.

@Temp20221213a, I can understand how concerning this must be. I would recommend continuing to work with the merchant like it sounds like already are. I hope they're able to assist you with a refund on that transaction.
