hello guys...just a few minutes ago i placed an order at cjs-cdkeys.com to buy a steam key for Cyberpunk 2077

i used their fast payment method, without registration, right after that they sent me an email that my payment might be a fraud even though i paid through paypal and verified my mobile number..they went beyond that and asked me to sent them personal information documents to prove my identity, which i have no intention to share even by getting the most sensitive info redacted..on top of that they claim that their refund policy is to delay 4 days the cancellation of the payment..to say that i'm frustrated at this point is an understatement as i want to catch up some black friday deals and now i got **bleep** over..what can i do in that situation to get my money back? i can't find a cancel option in the pending transaction..sorry for the longpost..

I understand your concern about the payment on the account. Some payments can be canceled while others cannot. You may only cancel a payment in your 'Pending' payments which shows as Unclaimed, meaning it hasn’t reached the intended recipient. These payments are displayed with a ‘Cancel’ button alongside. You won't be able to cancel a pending payment that doesn't have a "Cancel" link. In this case, you’ll need to contact the recipient/seller and request a refund. If the recipient/seller doesn't agree to refund your money, you may be able to open a dispute in the Resolution Center, once the transaction is completed and communicate directly with the recipient/seller to resolve any issues. Here's the link to know the steps to cancel the payment.

i ended up sending the required info...the transaction proceeded as intended after that without any further problems.

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
- Issued refund but had money taken from my account instead. in Transactions Archives
- iFastNet Refund Sent to PayPal on Hold - Confusion Over Shipping Details for Personal Account in Transactions Archives
- Money sent to a closed account and account not accessible but i was refunded to that account in Transactions Archives
- Unauthorized ATM withdrawals with PayPal debit card dispute says they were authorized denied in Security and Fraud Archives
- Item not received, Paypal issued wrong amount for full refund. in Security and Fraud Archives
