suspension of payment

Hi, A friend refunded me some money but he only had paypal. So I had to create an account for the occasion. He sent me the money but i see that the payment is suspended. I saw that there could be a delay of 21 days but I need this money rather quickly. What can I do ? Thank you for your help !

Sounds as if he sent the money using the goods/services option instead of the friends/family option.

As he used goods/services then paypal saw you as a seller and deducted a fee + applied the new seller hold as per link.

As you probably can't do much as per link then you may have to wait 21 days.

Also be careful, because he sent it using goods/services he can file a dispute for non receipt of item and as you had nothing to send him then he may get his funds back again, which is why he should have used the friends/family option.
