Can't link RBC bank account, Can't access my money.

I recently learned that I couldn't withdraw money into my credit card so I was trying to link my bank account today to paypal to no avail.

Everytime after logging in with my bank information and doing my security question I always have the pop up:

"We can't connect to your bank right now"

"Check with your bank and try again"

My bank account accepts transfer and has money in it, and is not linked to any paypal account. The bank is one of the options I'm given to choose from. So what gives? Am I not able to access my money at all that is sent to me through paypal??? I even logged in via private browsers so cookies or anything like that wouldn't affect it. No dice.

Not sure if it helps but I only have a debit and credit card on my bank account no visa debit card, will I need to get a visa debit card in order to access any money transferred to me?

Thank you but I read all these articles already none of them are pertaining to my problems.

I know how to link the bank account it just won't. If you read what I said at all the message I get for doing that states:

"We can't connect to your bank right now"

"Check with your bank and try again"

And the article "Why can't I link a bank account to my PayPal account?" doesn't help me at all because none of those common issues are the problem or apply to my issue. And I don't need to know how to withdraw money, I know how to do that but I can't do that at all because the bank account won't link to paypal.
