FNB paypal email address link error

I have an online FNB banking profile and I've changed the email to match the one i use for paypal. I've also made sure I've closed all other unused paypal accounts and placed though email addresses under my primary, but i still get the the "error the email belongs to another paypal account" message. How do i solve this?

I understand that you are trying to add the correct email address to the FNB account to match the PayPal account. I understand that you've closed unused accounts but still you're getting an error. Sometimes, it would take time for the PayPal system to refresh if you've taken action to close accounts recently. In this case, please try again at later time by clearing cache and cookies or try using different browser. If the issue persists, I would recommend you to contact our PayPal Customer Support through the available contact options on our website so that one of our representatives can review to see if there are any accounts that are still active and the email address is linked to that account.
