I want to remove an old bank account but it keeps telling me to do it later!

I keep trying to remove a bank account that I no longer have access to from my Paypal Wallet and every time I try I get the above message "We're sorry, we're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later." I have been trying for 6 months.

When I search it up it tells me I have to select a new Primary Bank account to be able to remove this account which it says is the primary account but there is no info on how to do this. Can anyone please help?

Add your new bank account first > confirm it > make it primary and remove the other one.
