IBAN number

Trying to transfer money from Paypal to my American bank account. But they are asking for an IBAN number, and as far as I know American banks don't have IBAN numbers. Suggestions of what to do?

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues adding a US bank to your account. Yes, you are correct, US banks have an account and routing number, but do not have an IBAN number. If you are only being asked for an IBAN, you may not be able to add a US bank account in your country.
