My debit card "cannot be use". I'm with National Bank, in Canada, and it won't let me link it.

Okay, so I'm with National Bank and I like to use my debit card with Paypal for online purchases. This weekend, I did about 5 or 6 purchases from vinyl shops, since I like to buy vinyls. When I tried after a couple buyings to do another one, the payment was refused and my card wouldn't be accepted. So, thinking it was a glitch, I de-linked my bank account and tried re-linking it. After doing so, the card was showed with a red announcement on it, saying "check your informations". I'm using Paypal on a pretty regular basis and this is a pretty big problem to me right now, and I don't understand why it does so. Does Paypal banned my card thinking all my buyings were a fraud? How can I "check my infos"?
