N26 installment payments

Hello,

So i was able to link my N26 bank to my paypal.de account (the only other bank account i have is a dutch one which is also not supported by paypal.de). however, it seems that if i wanted to do a monthly installment options in paypal, You cannot do that with N26 bank. Is this correct? do i need to open another german bank account?

Paypal does not support any other virtual bank.
Whilst you can sometimes add an account it wouldn't work properly and Paypal advise you against trying.
If you do succeed then Paypal wouldn't be responsible for any missing funds to or from that virtual / digital bank account.
