I was going to open a savings account with Paypal. I went through the process, uploaded my DL as required, but got a message saying they couldn't verify my identity so they couldn't open an account. I've never had this issue at any other bank. When I messaged Paypal, I got this generic response: When opening a PayPal Savings account there is additional verification required to confirm your identity and personal information. We were not able to confirm the information provided and are not able to issue you a PayPal Savings account.
Does anyone know what other super secret information they are missing that would cause them to be unable to verify my identity? They're suggestion that I could perhaps "open an account elsewhere" wasn't helpful. I already have accounts elsewhere.
Thanks
