Hi paypal community, I'm reaching out here as I have called Paypal and scorecard rewards multiple times to no success. So I thought I'd try this form instead.
Problem Statement: ScoreCard rewards option with my credit card is no longer an option to use my points as payment at checkout.
This issue suddenly started a few weeks back where before I as able to select the option using my card in the check out screen no problem. The card is linked and in my wallet displays my points but whenever I go to check out at any merchant online now, its simply not there to use. Paypal says its not their problem and they don't know. ScoreCard rewards blames Paypal or the merchant's site suddenly 'not allowing' me to use my points but no clear root cause answer. I've tried removing my card and relinking it to my wallet but again no change.
Has anyone else had this issue? And how did you resolve it?

Hello @Veverka77,
Thanks for stopping by the Community!
I'm sorry to hear your rewards are not showing when you make a purchase. There are a few reasons Pay With Rewards may not appear. One reason is that your specific rewards program may not be supported as part of PayPal's Pay with Rewards. However, since you mentioned you've been able to use it before, it's most likely supported. You can double-check on our website. Another possibility is that Pay with Rewards is not available for all merchants and payments types, including send money, recurring payments, billing agreements, and in-store transactions. There's also a chance you have accidentally opted out from Pay with Rewards. If needed, you can remove and add your card again.
I hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply! really appreciate it.
Unfortunately, I don't think an of those possibilities are the root cause. I used my points as recent as 3-4 weeks ago and then suddenly it just went away. I've tried relinking my card multiple times to no success. Sometimes the option pops up even when I initially open the check out screen on any given merchant site but then it drops off and goes away again. Its just random and odd. 3 -4 weeks ago, seemingly every merchant I would check out using Paypal with gave me that option and then now, nobody? I spoke with a few merchants and they point the finger at Paypal. I've called Paypal support a half dozen times since this started and they point the finger at everyone else. I really think though this issue is on Paypal's end allowing that settlment option on the checkout menu. Is paypal going through negotiations with merchants on their end and turned off this option with everyone while that is being worked through? I'm out of ideas. I can only view my points in my wallet but cannot use them with any merchant online.

Yes! This exact thing happened to me - scorecard rewards were an option to pay at checkout with paypal one week, next week it's gone. Now, paypal lists my bank/rewards program as not eligible. Very disappointing.
