Whenever I try to link my bank (I tried both instant and manual), I get the message: "We're sorry. We're not able to process your request right now." I have tried contacting support, and I was told that it was because a transaction failed (this is correct as I tried to send the free $5 to my bank but it failed), and I also received an email stating that I had to wait 72 hours before relinking my bank. 5 days later, I tried again and got the same message. I tried linking on both my PC and iPhone, and the account I am linking is a Regions Checking account.We're sorry. We're not able to process your request right now

Thanks for responding, this issue was resolved when I contacted support and they called me to verify my phone number to which then they could connect my bank.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into issues adding a bank on your PayPal account. I dug up a Help Center article you may find useful here: Why can't I link a bank account to my PayPal account?
You can reach Customer Support by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website. They're also available through Twitter direct message or Facebook instant message.
