bank account is locked and i cannot unlock it until march 30th, but i need to make a payment

hi! i'm not sure if this is the right sub but i hope i can get some help!

the context is:

my connected bank account is from germany and i am currently in korea until march 30th.

for some reason my bank account is locked, and because i don't have a working german phone number nor an address, i cannot unlock the account until i am physically at my bank in germany.

i bought something with paypal without realizing that my bank account is locked, and i cannot cancel the payment. so paypal keeps trying to draw money from the bank account that is locked, failing, and kept getting small fees charged.

i tried adding money directly on my paypal account but it seems like paypal wants to take the money only from my bank account.

is there a way to solve this issue? i would greatly appreciate this! thank you very much!

Welcome to the Community and thanks for asking your question. I am sorry to hear that your German bank account is blocked. 

I understand that you made a payment. The seller is paid but the bank is blocking the direct debit in order for us to claim the money and you are  being charged several small fees. PayPal will try to deduct the money from the bank up to 3 times. We will do this to try to avoid a negative  balance. When none of the direct debits are successful, the PayPal balance will become negative. If the bank is not allowing any transfers, you can ask a close friend of Family to send a 'Personal' payment to your PayPal account. This way the negative balance will be resolved and you can transfer funds to them when your able to use the bank again. 

When the PayPal account is negative it will also show an option with steps on how to resolve the negative balance. I would also try to look there to see if we are offering alternative ways to resolve the balance.
