My Amex was recently charged with an unknown charge, and they sent me a knew card, I hadn't opened the envelope yet, I was going to purchase an item and use paypal, when I went to choose the credit card to use on my paypal account I saw a weird card number that I did not recognize. I later went to open my mail and the new card was the exact number that was on my paypal account My question is how does paypal know my new card number before I even opened my envelope?
