linking ABN-AMRO to paypal

i'm trying to link my bank card ABN-AMRO to my paypal and i'm having troubles doing so, anybody know how i can do this?

Before January 2019 I had my ABN-account linked to my PayPal-account, but the link was blocked. PayPal's serviceDesk unblocked and asked me to reset password and get a relink. This didn't help 😞

They just refused to help me, said there is a security issue??? I have not an idea what's wrong with moving your own money to your own bank wherever you are, even within EU.

Yes, paypal is proving to be quite **bleep** if you don't have a credit card. I'm using apple pay more nowadays.
