Welcome! Thank you for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. Sorry to hear there's been some confusion on what options are available to use Crypto through PayPal in the UK. I found the following in this Help Center article: 

You can only hold or sell the cryptocurrency that you buy on PayPal in your Personal PayPal account. Additionally, the cryptocurrency assets in your account cannot be transferred to other accounts on or off PayPal.
