Can't remove debit card from wallet

I want to remove a debit card that's no longer active from my PayPal wallet, but PayPal just will not let me. Every time I try it says "This payment method is being used for scheduled payments. Choose a new way to pay before deleting." I have already manually changed all my listed automatic payments to be paid with another card and have updated my preferred payment methods. Annoyingly, PayPal doesn't tell me which scheduled payments the card is still being used for. I can't see any that are still being used with the old card. How can I get rid of this defunct payment method?

See if customer services will remove it manually for you?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
