s it even possible to send crypto to an external wallet, I only get a very general error from paypal even thou i have bitcoin, have a valid bitcoin address to send to, have verified my personal info. Only get some general error message like "cannot do this transaction at this time" what a joke! I;m very experienced and am doing this all correctly and its obvious its a problem within paypal. So all said and done i got ripped off for fees having to sell my bitcoin back to cash and just use my current exchange. Utterly zero help from paypal and zero knowledge from customer service, that means zero chance that you have my business going forward. Thanx for no help with your services

Happens to me all the time. It’s super sketchy. I’ll try to transfer all my crypto and I’ll get the orange triangle saying something went wrong try again sometimes helps. But then I just transfer like 5 dollars worth and it transfers no problem. I again try to transfer it all and orange triangle. They will let me do 20 transfers of 5 dollars but give error message when it’s anything over like 20

I thought I was the only one having this issue and paying all these fees to convert back to cash to go else where. I realize randomly they start not allowing me to sending my crypto to a external wallet, its my money!!! I end up spending money reselling it after paying fees to buy it and then pay even more fees to transfer back to my bank instantly. I'm starting to realize they have some sort of cap on the amount you can send, they need to more clear with this cause we are paying fees.

I recently tried to send Litecoin (LTC) to an external wallet using PayPal, and the experience was extremely problematic. Here’s what happened: 1. Misleading Transfer Process: Despite using the QR code and directly copying the crypto address, PayPal sent the LTC to a "contact" which they said owned the address. Incorrect Recipient: PayPal indicated that the address belonged to a user named "K B." Trusting their system, I proceeded with the transaction. However, the LTC is now missing. 3. Lack of Transaction Details: The transaction was completed without providing a transaction hash. Instead, I only received a transaction ID, which offers no useful information when searched. 4. Customer Support Issues: When I reached out to PayPal for assistance, I received little help in locating my missing funds or explaining why the transfer was misdirected. How can PayPal let this happen? Their system should prioritize the crypto address provided by the user and not redirect to an unknown contact. This incident has caused me financial loss and considerable stress. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with PayPal's crypto services? Let's share our experiences.

This describes what happened to me. Is still happening! No one seems to know anything. Supposedly.

Feels like it's just being swept under the rug by PayPal, haven't gotten a straight answer from them about how or why this occured.

Sounds about right. Not. But yes, that is what they are doing to me too.

So the next step is going to be contacting your states Atorney General and filing a complaint with the FDIC. You can reach the FDIC by phone:[Removed. Phone #s not permitted] or by submitting a complaint online here: https://ask.fdic.gov/fdicinformationandsupportcenter/s/

Did you ever get this resolved? This EXACT same thing happened to me today and I have no clue what to do to fix it or get my money back.
