Cannot confirm bank account - Unconfirmed(Waiting for deposit) DEPSITE HAVING RECEIVED THE DEPOSIT

Hello there Paypal Support team.

I have recently set up my account and trying to link my bank account to Paypal.
However, despite ALREADY RECEIVED THE DEPOSIT, the setup page is still stuck on "Unconfirmed(Waiting for deposit)" with no option to confirm the deposits to properly link the account.

Please fix your error.

As you haven't added your country to your community profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) OR said in your post which country you are from unfortunately its hard for us to advise.

Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

The country in question is Australia. The verification here comes in the form of sending two deposits to the bank account (which I have already received) and confirming it on PayPal, which is broken on both the app and website.
