Citibank credit card confirmation issue

Hi,

I have added my citibank visa credit card as the preferred payment method. The issue is that I am unable to confirm my card. Everytime I try to confirm by putting in the otp it says "We couldn't confirm your information".

Has anybody encountered this issue?

Is paypal accepting citibank cards? I am trying this from India. 

Please help me with the resolution.

Is it from a physical bank and not a virtual / online bank / card?

Does the billing address of the card match your paypal account address exactly?

Hi,

I didn't get what you mean by physical bank or online card? It's a credit card issued by Citibank. It's not a virtual card if that's what you mean.

Address is the same for paypal account and the card.

Is the card already associated with another PayPal account?

Your card issuer may be denying Paypals attempts to verify the card. If so then call the number on the back of the card and ask to speak to the 'Online Payments Department'.

Failing that contact customer services for paypal.

I have Citibank credit card as well. It was working in the past. Now transaction stopped working last year some time, I tried to remove and add card back. This is when my card confirmation is failing too. Same issue.
