How to top-up Paypal balance from UK HSBC bank account?

Hi,

This is the information Paypal told me to add as a payee:

Name of payee

PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.

Bank of the Payee

Deutsche Bank

IBAN from PayPal

[Removed. Phone #s not permitte[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]/p>

[removed]

However, my UK bank account, HSBC, requires an address, and where the bank account is located.

If I put UK, it asks me for the sort code and I can't find this information.

If I put Germany, it wants to convert to euros, refuses to convert into pounds...

I'm very much confused, I want to send GBP.

Best,

Dune

Paypal is country specific so you have to open a paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You can however in some countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your paypal account. This is because paypal is a U.S company.
If you have that option then it should show in your paypal wallet.

@kernowlass I have added my bank just fine. I reside in the UK and added a UK bank.

Now I need to send GDP money from my bank to Paypal's bank, whatever it is. This is the problem, I don't have Paypal bank coordinates that would let me pay in GDP seemingly?
