Greetings, Is there any chance that I can link my Saudi Arabian bank account to my paypal account that I opened in Saudi Arabia country? It only gives me link a US bank account option. Is there any chance I can add Saudi Riyals (SAR) currency to my account?

Are you still living in Saudi?

If so then when the U.S bank account option is the only option for a bank showing then it means you can't add a local bank in your country. Check first for your country.

The U.S bank account option is there because paypal is a U.S company and allows its bank account to be used by their ex-pats living in other countries.

Thank you for your reply. However it does not make sense as PayPal is operating globally allowing worldwide customers to use their payment tools to make transactions for worlwide businesses. It does not really make sense for a shop in Saudi Arabia not being able to bank his wallet to a local bank. PayPal is keeping the fees of course. I am really still puzzled.

I think you can withdraw to a visa card in Saudi.

Withdrawal options vary country to country.

In some countries:-

you can withdraw to a card only.

you can only withdraw to a bank account.

you can only withdraw to a U.S bank account.

you can only withdraw via Mpesa or Gcash.

you can't withdraw funds at all.

you can't even receive paypal payments only send them.

in some countries you can only withdraw in USD

etc etc etc.
