Issue with Linking US Bank Account to PayPal

Hello everyone,
I’m trying to link my US bank account to PayPal, but I only see the option to add a bank card, not a direct bank account. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any advice or solutions would be appreciated!

You can only link a U.S bank account that was opened IN the U.S.

You can't add a digital / virtual U.S bank account like Payoneer or Wise as they are Paypal unsupported.

The U.S bank account option is for U.S citizens working abroad and is offered because Paypal is a U.S company.

Thank you for the clarification! I want to add that linking a U.S. digital bank account (like Payoneer or Wise) to PayPal isn’t possible in Morocco, but I noticed that some African countries have this option.

Thank you for your assistance and for sharing that link. I wanted to clarify my issue a bit more: my PayPal account only shows an option to add a card, not a bank account, so I can’t even attempt linking to see if it's compatible or not. I suspect there may be some regional restriction in my case that is hiding the bank linking option altogether. I appreciate any insights on this and thank you again for your help!
