My bank was previously SunTrust and has now changed to Truist. The account number and routing number remained the same. Will I have to change the name here or will it be an automatic function. Truist isn't an option when adding a bank.
Your bank would have sent you information to help with the transition. It’ll say whether you’ll need to update your bank account at your creditors or not. I don’t believe you’ll need update if the bank account/routing number are unchanged. If needed, the bank account can be manually verified with the 2 small deposits process if there isn’t an instant verification option.
