My debit card is not confirmed, although I go to the whole process

Hi,

I am stuck in confirming my card. I can add it, the card is shown in the list (even the image matches), but I have an exclamation mark in a red triangle, that is not confirmed. These are the steps I am cícling in:

  • I ask for confirmation
  • I am redirected to the MasterCard IDCheck page
  • I am getting the confirmation request in my banking app for 0 USD
  • I am making the confirmation in the app
  • I see that everything went okay in the app, the IDCheck page is also stepping forward,
  • But the exclamation mark is still there

And I can do this over and over again, every step seems to be successful, but the end result still isn't...

The same card is registered in several other places sing a similar flow, and I never had issues. Except here.
But there is no error message along the way. So what could go wrong?

Totally different bank, totally different card provider, same issue. What's going on at PayPal?

Thanks for responding back! Apologies for the inconvenience you've experienced while confirming your card in you PayPal account. 

Once you initiate the confirmation process, we will make a small charge to your card with a 4-digit code. If you've received the 4-digit code, you can complete the confirmation process by entering the code in your wallet. Steps to confirm your card can be found in this article : How do I confirm my credit or debit card with PayPal? If you're seeing the red indicator after completing all the steps, please reach out to our support team to look into this further.

Im having exact same issue, bank saying everything is ok their end but Paypal cant confirm card and asking me to contact bank which i have, going round in circles !

Same issue here. I tried all day on multiple devices, different browsers and in the app. Nothing helped.

Same issue. I can go through the confirmation process again and again, but there's no charge on my card and no 4-digit code as stated in the help pages. I just go through the confirmation process, which seems to go fine,, I fill in the CVC code, go through the identity check without any problems, and then I'm sent back to the page where it says that I need to confirm my card.
There is no issue with my card, because I've been using it without any problem on other platforms.
