Transfer to bank without currency conversion

Hi,

I have funds in my PayPal account which I want to transfer to my bank.

However, PayPal seems to assume that I want the money converted into my local currency.

When I'm trying to add a bank, I get this message: "You must use English characters to enter information below. Make sure the account you link can receive Israeli New Shekels".

According to my bank, if they get the money in USD they won't convert it automatically, which is what I want.

Is there a way to configure PayPal to transfer the money in USD?

Withdrawals to bank accounts are always in your local currency.

Are you sure about this?

It's pretty basic to give me the choice whether to perform a currency conversion or not.

The physical location of my bank shouldn't affect the currencies I keep.

  • We only support transfers in local currency. If you withdraw money from a foreign currency balance, there will be a conversion fee.
