Unable to make a purchase of ETH for Metamask

I was able to buy $100 worth of ETH around 1pm Eastern today. Now that I'm trying to buy an additional amount, I see the Review screen with my expected transaction then I get the modal with "There's a problem". It seems to be on PayPal's side. How do I get this working?

Having identical problem at 10 pm EDT, except that I don't even get to the review transaction screen before getting the error splash screen (I did see the review screen momentarily flash once in four failed purchase attempts).  This certainly looks like a PayPal to Metamask glitch.

Same 😞 and they’re only answers to tell you to wait except in this situation waiting is **bleep** up the work that I’m doing so I have to start all the way over which is going to lose me money

Getting the same issue today on May 4th but was able to make a purchase on the 2nd.  I don't think I have any limit issues (though I don't know how to check).  Anyone figure out the issue?

I was told this by PayPal support, which is a terrible answer. I eventually was able to transfer the ETH, but it was too late to buy the NFT I wanted.

I understand you have been having trouble with sending/transferring Crypto. This can definitely be frustrating. Cryptocurrency is still considered a newer funding source on the PayPal platform. This makes it a lot easier to have run-ins with our security system. As of right now, we do not have a specific way to override the system decision for decline once its been made.

We do advice waiting 72 hours before attempting any transaction, including withdrawals and transfers of any type. Again, this will allow the system to reset and remove any pending blocks.

Yes I'm trying to buy also from PayPal to my metamask but it's give and invoice part to fill out,,what I'm I doing wrong
