Exact same issue, Paypal has been useless in helping me with this issue. I will never use PayPal to buy crypto again. I've made three attempts to get support and followed the advice given to the letter. Nothing has worked, I guess I'll just have to sell and take the tax hit. So frustrating ----

PayPal seems to work just fine before 10pm. After forget transfering crypto to an outside wallet. All day it works just fine. System shuts down for whatever reason doesn't allow you to purchase or transfer crypto currency after 10 at night. I don't know why but this has been happening to me for the past several nights.  10 PM. It just shuts down. Has anyone else had this problem?

I got this response from customer service and it may apply to you as well. Once you purchase crypto it does have a processing time of 72hrs on it before it will allow it to be transferred to a external wallet. You can run into these processing times for crypto from time to time just because PayPal is not setup as a trading platform yet. This restriction is only restricting the transfer to a external wallet for the crypto and is not blocking the buy/sell of crypto on the account.

Definitely was not the issue, I had held that crypto for a long time before trying to send to an external wallet. I ended up giving up in frustration, selling my crypto, and taking a tax hit for it and repurchasing on an exchange. I WILL NEVER USE PAYPAL AGAIN FOR CRYPTO AND WILL AVOID THE PLATFORM AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE FOR ALL TRANSACTIONS BECAUSE I'M SO **bleep** THEY COULDN'T RESOLVE WHAT WAS CLEARLY ON ISSUE ON THEIR SIDE AND COST ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS IN TAXABLE GAINS I DID NOT WANT TO INCUR AT THIS TIME.
