issues with connecting wells fargo bank account to wallet

I've tried connecting my wells fargo bank account to my paypal multiple times but paypal refuses to let it connect. Whenever I try to connect my account, it says "We're sorry. We're not able to process your request right now." and "This account needs a little help to link it. Contact us and we can help with that, or you can link a different account." I tried waiting 48-72 hours and trying again, nothing. I was even able to connect my wells fargo premium debit card to my paypal account, but not my wells fargo bank account itself for some weird reason and I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've cleared my browser cookies, etc, but still nothing. Any of yall know wtf to do? 

 

P.s. yes I reached out to paypal on facebook and the help team tried to help but they weren't very helpful in the end.
