Inform us when PayPal has been reinstated for Pam Geller / Atlas Shrugs so that I also can continue to use PayPal. I cannot use a service that restricts my access to only Islam / Moslem friendly sites.

Pam Geller simply repeated what the followers of radical Islam said!
If you are accusing her of hate speech, then you are an idiot, a supporter of Radical Islam yourself, and obviously don't care if your grand-daughter ends up wearing a berka. You scare me if you're running Paypal, therefore my next move will be to withdraw the large amount of money I have in Paypal.

To those defending Paypal's right to selectively enforce their policies, bowing to pressure from certain middle eastern religious "interests" and/or expressing the company's political persuasion...
You are absolutely correct.
And people who make up their customer base, when offended by those policies or acts of appeasement, are free to take their MONEY elsewhere. And MONEY TALKS.
Simple, isn't it? Capitalism sure is great 🙂

Dear Pay Pal,
Thank you for listening and reinstating Atlas Shrugs. I had every faith that this company would see the light and fix the problem, however, your advisor Suerplus Dude or whoever he is is a hate mongering bigot who was baiting legitamte customers with a legitamate complaint, please review the posts from him and remove him from this help forum, than you!

I, too, am very happy that PayPal reconsidered. Pam Geller, however has chosen to leave their button off her site. I can't say that I blame her.
I would like it very much if PayPal would come out with a statement to the folks on this board, expaining how this all came about. I don't know this, but I don't believe Surplusdealdude represents them. His "title" more than likely represents the amount of posts he's made here. Perhaps he's been helpful to several people. I don't percieve him to be a "bad guy, " but one who is impassioned in his beliefs.
I didn't appreciate him trying to marginalize the opinions of everyone who disagreed with him. Kind of reminded me of a rat backed into a corner. An awful lot of hissing, spitting and snarling going on. Perhaps there was nothing else he could do. Aw well, time to move on ... I just want to say I think it's great that so many people took time to contact PayPal, or post on this board as well as others. Conservative thinkers have been silent far too long. Keep up the good fight!

I don't think you really want Paypal to offer an explanation on this - you probably won't like what they have to say.
I read Gellen's post on the subject and it's pretty short on details.
Paypal does not make these decisions lightly and I dounbt that they would back down over a couple of hundred posts - there are several thousand posts on the 21 day hold and they haven't backed down on that yet.
I think Gellen made it up in an attempt to save face.
Pretty strange that this apology from paypal is made on the phone and she didn't get the name of the person, just the first name.
And then she decides to stay with Gpal anyway - perhaps she didn't have the choice.
But, believe what you will.

SWEET!
WTG, PAM! (However, Pam says she'll stick with GPal.)

From Pam:
I posted it over the weekend and received over a thousand letters of support, hundreds of ccs of paypal account cancellations........ the people spoke. Love that.
And so today, about an hour ago, a very pleasant and rather deliberately clueless executive called me from paypal to say it was all a big misunderstanding and Atlas would be reinstated (and the subsequent restriction of SIOA and FDI removed also).

I was glad the decision to cancel Atlas Shrugs was reversed. I was going to cancel my membership in Paypal. That would have made things a little more complicated for me, but considering how many hateful and threatening organizations are retained, while an organization exposes truth is forced out, I was VERY angry! People in America are getting pretty tired of this. I speak as one in a majority of thought.
