The Community Chat is now open and unlocked!  Our moderator staff will be available for the next hour to answer your questions about PayPal, get to know you, or just have idle conversation.  We do ask that posts follow the PayPal Community Help Forum Policy and the Forum Decorum Guidelines.

Once the session is over, this thread will be locked again, but you will be able to view the content in the forums.  This chat will be a regular feature every Tuesday from 4-5 PM CST, so if you missed us this week, please feel free to stop by in the future! :smileyhappy:

That being said, if you haven't read about how you can use PayPal to help disaster relief in Japan, please take some time to visit this page and consider making a contribution to an organization.  PayPal covers all processing costs for these organizations - 100% of your donation reaches the charity you choose to support!

Hi everyone! Come join us for chat!

Adrian - Thanks for posting that link about disaster relief. I made a contribution last week, but I was thinking of sending more after payday.

Obligatory cliche icebreaker question: What's your favorite food? Mine has been sashimi lately.

Hmmmm - I've been on a Muenster cheese kick with smoked turkey on toasted rye bread.  Then again, my taste buds have just been going nuts lately in any event.  Smiley Happy

Olivia, can you educate me more on what Sushimi is, so I can avoid having to go all search engine on it lol Smiley Happy

Muenster is definitely one of my favorite cheeses. I think I mostly like the fact that when you melt it it has a streak of orange in it. It's pretty as well as tasty. I like melted brie for that reason, too.

Sashimi is like sushi, but without the rice. The cuts are different to highlight the texture and the striations in the fish. The pieces are little works of art in their simplicity, and the taste and texture of the fish is about as close to perfection as I can imagine.

Now I want sashimi. *sigh*

Those all sound great! I like anything chocolate!

I'm wondering if you can tell me if there's a limit to how much money can be received in a personal account per month. I know it used to be $500/month but can't find that info now.

Thanks!

Hi netdasher!

Thanks for joining the conversation!  I honestly can't think of anything that beats chocolate.

For US PayPal accounts, there is no limit on how much money you can receive with a Personal account.  You're right that it used to be $500 per month.  This is something we changed when we introduced Personal payments.

Great question! 😄

Thanks for the info! I know someone who wants to use PayPal to pay far flung employees but he wasn't sure if there was still a limit.

Thanks again!
