1099 EIN and Information Match

Hello,  I am getting my new account going and plan to start selling and hopefully pass the 200 items 20,000 in sales, before the end of the year.  When I set up my account I used a "doing business as" name for personal privacy, not my real name,  and I do have an EIN from the IRS as a sole proprietor.  My question is, when I reach or upgrade my account with my EIN what will happen when my real name does not match my EIN information at the IRS?  Will I need to start a new account or can I change the name on the paypal account to a business name?  Thank you.

You should have a PayPal Premier account with your "doing business as" name as your business name.

Then, you'll need to do your taxes as you are required. If you're filing correctly, your information will show correctly and should not cause any tax problem.

Just file correctly.
