HORRIBLE IDEA TO HOLD FUNDS FOR 21 DAYS!!!

Holding funds from sellers until the buyer leaves feedback is the worst idea EVER! Since when does Paypal become an authority on buyer satisfaction?? A smooth transaction is all that I wanted from Paypal. If they are going to hold funds, then they should make it very clear BEFORE you use them! Keeping my money in their account for 21 days is a HUGE disadvantage of using Paypal. Stick to transferring funds, not trying to be a satisfaction authority!

I am trying Bonanza which is easy for buyer's to navigate and really easy to list on (they will transfer open eBay listings too). As I said Webstore doesn't impress me with format and they charge you $10 to link up with Paypal ("recommended"). I haven't seen much else out there. yahoo auctions was great till eBay bought them and another I tried disappeared also. But we need BUYERS to see and use these sites. If there are a million sellers there and no buyers, we've gained nothing.

I think you will be very dissapointed with Webstore. I never made even one sale over there but got alot of phishing customers, alot of BS emails, alot of no pays. My items were up for over 3 months and not one sell.

I have 3 auctions I sold on Ebay and here's the scenario.
Pay Pal held the funds for up to 21 days (they say they'll release it when items are received or feedback posted)
BULL!
One auction was confirmed received in March 8th (I downloaded tracking info)
One auction was confirmed received on March 10th (again I downloaded tracking info)
One Auction was confirmed received on March 13 AND I GOT POSITIVE feedback and they did not release my money on any of these 3 auctions.
Pay Pal are thieves. I will never use them again if they still make me wait the 21 days.
BULL**bleep**!

And to the buyers that leave NO feedback after recieving the item(s)?! I'm at the mercy of no product, no payment and no answers. Super fun.

I got positive feedback & delivery confirmation after 2 days & Paypal is holding the payment up. Of course, they can do what they want - hanging on to our money for another couple weeks is great, PP can invest it, even at today's rotten rates.
Thanks PP - as soon as the eBay PP monopoly is brought down, perhaps things will improve.
Not a good way to do business.

I have good news (at least I hope), for everyone. On ioffer.com PayPal DOES NOT hold the seller's money for 21 days! I have conducted two transactions the past week or so. Although I had to return the buyer's money (but that was due to technicalities with my dropshippers), when a buyer pays for something the seller's money is there right away!! None of that 21-day hold garbage!!

I completely agree. It is complete bull**bleep**. They have **bleep**ed me over so many times this last week. After my auctions end I will never go on ebay/paypal again. Just an example, I sold 2 items to one person (over 100 dollars) and my money was held, i shipped it, they received it and gave me 5 stars for both items and my money has STILL not been released. BULL**bleep**.

My payments have been held now for the fourth time. I have 85 A+ sells under my belt. Yeah, that's right, not a single complaint. Now paypal want's to take it upon themselves with hold my payments until I get good feedback reports. Anyone else dealing with this issue? Have we given them too much much power? Why is my money being held for up to three weeks? I want to know. And on top of that, I transferred money from Paypal to my bank account five days ago and still haven't seen it show up. I thought the digital age was upon us? signed -fed up with corperate
