The buyer says I have not paid. Pay Pal says the transaction has been completed. How do I get Pay Pal to prove that I paid? I'm affraid anything that I do could come across as "the check is in the mail" to the seller.

each payment has a transaction ID.
Sign into Paypal
Click on My Accounts and then find the "Payments Sent" option.
Find the transaction and then click on "Details"
There will be a Unique Transaction ID
Copy this and send it to the seller to use on their end for verification.
If the purchase is made through eBay you should have it noted there as well.
Also provide the exact date / time the payment was sent as this might help to.
Good luck
