Hello- I've connected my primary AMEX card successfully to my PayPal account. I've also received confirmation that I'm set up to use AMEX Membership Rewards points as a payment method when I choose PayPal at checkout. My question is: When does this occur? I'm trying to make a purchase on the Apple site. During checkout I choose PayPal, am taken to the PayPal interface, select the AMEX card with the points, and then am immediately taken back to the Apple checkout screen. It's asking me to complete checkout. The FAQ I read stated that I should have been able to choose points after choosing the card, all BEFORE getting routed back to Apple checkout. If I finish the checkout at Apple (having selected that proper card within PayPal), can I THEN choose the points option? Any help or insight would be appreciated. I don't want to accidentally complete checkout without knowing I can use the points. Either something isn't working midstream (the option to choose points isn't appearing when I choose the right card inside PayPal), the option to choose points will appear after what looks like final checkout on the Apple site, or the Apple site isn't playing well with this option provided by PayPal.
