After the auction a fellow contacted me from Miami and thru emails, made a deal with on the trailer. I asked him for a $500.00 deposit and he said that was fine IF i sent him a PAYPAL invoice, which I did. I made it very clear that the $500.00 was NON refundable and he agreed. He came up to central Florida a few days later to pick up and pay the balance for the trailer. Once here, he changed his mind and said it was NOT the size he wanted. Now in the many many emails I told him it was an 8x16 which is stated on the title and on the sticker which is on the trailer. I even offered him a reduction in the agreed price for his travels IF he would continue with the deal. He refused! A few days later, I got contacted by pay-pal and my original deposit was put on hold. Then they released the funds to me because a deposit is non tangible goods. Ok so far so good! I transferred the funds to my bank account and later on sold the trailer to another person! THEN, I get contacted by pay-pal with a chargeback. I called them and they advised me that I did everything the way it should be done including the pay-pal invoice. I sent them all theemails and pictures etc and they told me to wait and it could take up to 90 days. Well, I patiently waited and today I get an email from pay-pal stating that the potential buyers credit card company sided with the buyer (their customer) and pay-pal now wants ME to refund them the money! Where do they call this protecting the seller? Anyway, I called pay-pal and told them in not so nice words that I live in america and I was brought up to stand by whats right and when something states NON refundable, that's exactly what it means. I also told them to NOT send me any collection notices, emails, or phone calls because it would be a cold day in **bleep** when I refund THEM money that was rightfully mine and if they wanted bad enough they needed to contact the buyers card company. They told me to contact the buyer which I have and got no response so I asked for the buyers card company info and they refused to give it to me. HOW in the **bleep** do they expect you to dispute your right doing with anyone BUT them and they say the card comapny has the final word. I say it's a big big scam! One thing for sure, they will NEVER get a penny from me for this fiasco! There are other paying institutes besides pay-pal and I'm about to start using them! Pay-pal can kiss me off and vice-versa What is your problem?!?!? You didn't lose your item or anything? The way I see it YOU stole money from the person that chose not to buy your item after they looked at it! Wow good thing that guy was smart enough to file a chargeback against you for stealing his money, and he has it back
