I bought a top online and never received it. Website doesn't exist anymore and seller wont contact me. i opened a case which they said was investigated and the seller gave a tracking number that shows the parcel was delivered and my request was denied. case closed. I've since been to Australia Post with the tracking number and had them investigate, below is their reply: Thank you for reaching out for more information about the tracksuit top you're expecting from China which you believe was being sent in article LZ816120780CN. After review of the parcel information, I strongly recommend that you reach out to the sender of this article and ask them to confirm the article ID number and the delivery details they have for this number. The electronic information for your article LZ816120780CN provided by the sender shows that this article was addressed to a different person and delivery address. Additionally, the contents of this parcel do not match what you're expecting either. It is for these reasons that I believe the sender has made an error with either the address placed on the parcel or the article ID/tracking number that they have provided to you. If your sender is adamant that all information is correct, they will need to contact the postal service they have used to send the parcel in China Post for an investigation. I can understand that this may be inconvenient, however, the sender has access to all of the lodgement and transport documents required for a thorough investigation into the parcel. Whilst the investigation is ongoing, I’m sure the sender will be happy to replace or refund the item for you so you are not impacted. In the event your sender is unwilling to follow this up for you, it is possible that you have been the victim of a scam. In this case, I suggest that you contact your purchasing platform to raise a dispute or your financial institution for assistance with recovering the money you have paid for the parcel. If you believe it is a scam, your bank may ask you to submit a report to ScamWatch which is a brand of the government who oversees, monitors and reports on these types of events and incidents. You can visit their website here: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam How do I now go about having this looked into again? Regards.
