stupid me falling for the same too good to be true **bleep**. Same thing...scammer provided a backdated proof of ups shipping for 4 pounds ( on a toolbox sllegedly weighing well over 100lbs).... the dispute was closed in sellers favor...only briefly. Having been a Paypal user for over 20 years ... I of course raised it to the appeal process via telephone.... And within minutes my $93.81 was fully refunded. It is still unclear to me several things: 1. How does Facebook managers sleep at night knowing they allow these **bleep** scammers to ply their trade? 2. How in the hell did the scammer create the UPS proof of delivery to somewhere in my city on a date that predates my purchase date? 3. I also use "Discovercard" on all paypal purchases. If paypal can't handle a reversal (which they did this time). Then Discover will happily reverse the charge. good luck to all other peeps who get sucked into this obviously hi tech scam.
