I received a demand from Moorcroft for over £300. I have absolutely no idea where this alleged debt came from. I have not used PayPal for years and certainly not for anything near that amount of money. PayPal has refused my initial complaint stating that no fraudulent transaction had taken place. What does that mean ? I don't owe this money ? A fraudulent transaction has taken place and I'm expected to pay for their mistake? Nothing in my account about any financial transaction and no emails alerts or demands for money. No doubt my credit rating is in jeopardy because of some scam that I am not party to. I am currently awaiting a 2nd response from PayPal as absolutely no information as to when, where and what email address was used. Really not sure that I want all this hassle from PayPal
