I have been charged a $40.00 late fee on my Paypal account, and Due to Paypal's and Synchrony's incompetence, I have been charged a $40.00 late fee on my Paypal account. I paid my payment on the 4th of the month and it was due on the 7th, through my Paypal account online. It never reached my bank. I paid it again on the 6th talking with Paypal, it was returned again. They sent it somewhere to a VENMO account. I do not have and never had a VENMO account, so payment denied. On the 8th, I talked with a person at Synchrony and she set my correct bank account number up and made a payment to my bank. She said it would be either Monday or Tuesday before it showed on my bank. I checked on the 11th, and it was not on my bank. I called Paypal and they could not help me and gave me a number at Synchrony to call. Synchrony's person at that number could not help me, so they gave me another Synchrony number to call. I gave her all the info again for the fourth time. She took my payment, and I asked her to cancel the late fee. She said she could not do that, so I asked her to give me a name and phone number to call to have it removed since the problem was with Paypal and Synchrony. She again said it was not their policy to remove late payments. I want to see how I can get help to manage this complaint.
