Hi, I've had a similiar issue where a fraudulent company demanded I pay to ship the product back to them before they would refund the cost I paid for counterfeit goods. Paypal agreed with the seller and said unless I returned the product they would close the case. I returned the product at a cost of almost AUD$40 and provided tracking evidence and photos. It has now been almost 4 weeks and each time I check the status of my case it is 'under review' with a new end date. I realised during the experience that Paypal does not care about what the seller claims, or provides. They are simply a fund transfer company. My advice - decide what makes the best financial sense for you. Is it worth opening a case and returning the product in the hope of getting a refund - or are you better off just thinking of it as an expensive lesson? If you paid by credit card, you may be able to put a claim in with the credit card company. Best of luck! Sheree
