I had a $3300 case that was initially approved in my favor and the seller (Alibaba) agreed to refund the money for a purchase. I then submitted additional info on the claims page asking for paypal to give me some days to discuss with my bank and then I can get the machine shipped back. Shortly after submitting this information asking for a few days to get the machine shipped back, I got another email saying the case has been denied in favor of the seller. Huh? I then called PP on the phone and a representative told me that their system must have automatically just closed the case when I responded with anything other than a tracking #. I told him I have to get this machine sent internationally -- I'm not just stuffing it in a mailbox and sending it with UPS. So I needed to check some things with my bank and on my side first. He then apologized and said he understood, and that it should be no problem to appeal and then re-open to give me a chance to submit the shipping tracking #. After getting an email about the appeal, I got another email the next day that it was denied before I was even able to submit anything. So what should I do now? Should I open a small claims in court against PP? Or BBB? The ridiculous part is that the seller has already agreed and all that was waiting was tracking info, but because I asked for a few days before I can get it shipped off, they just automatically rule against me on a $3300 case.
