As someone who has used PayPal for years, I'm embarrassed to have been scammed this way bc I know better. But regardless, I want to have this person reported bc I know they're scamming someone else right now, or are attempting to. The usual "I paid for something and the person told me to send them the money via F&F and I did it because I'm an idiot. This person was impersonating an artist that I was going to be buying artwork from, and I didn't think to check anything on them. Now that I have confronted them, they've blocked me. However, since this has happened, they've changed their username to the name of another artist so I know that they are absolutely attempting to scam a new person and I want their PayPal address reported so that they can't continue to do this. Opening up the resolution center on PayPal didn't give me any helpful options, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right place. How do I take this guy down? I know I won't get my money back and I have to eat the loss, but I want to help make sure that they can't scam anyone else in the future.
