Hi, As PayPal is one of the oldest in the industry, I chose it to setup my payment system here. I run a digital marketing website where I sell my own digital products and offer trainings and digital services. Therefore, I registered an individual PayPal account with digital goods and don’t have a registered business. I’ve had some sales and transactions however, after 2 months PayPal suddenly decided to lock me out and limited my account on BLACK FRIDAY! I had several leads wanting to purchase my services but because of PayPal I lost them! Despite being the oldest in this business I’m disappointed to see PayPal’s system and service is of such poor and low quality. After your first sale they block your payment for 21 days, they have high service charges for EACH transaction, then on top of all that… they have low exchange rates but alright, I put up with all this nonsense and then PayPal comes in and blocks you out, put limitations out of the blue, request for personal information which should’ve been asked at the beginning of account setup such as passport copy and the type of business you run. I mean you guys have no regard for customer satisfaction and have a ridiculously stupid customer services section! I can’t even connect with anyone from PayPal to get answers!!! I am truly disappointed and looking for answers and solutions to this problems. I am on the edge of closing my account with PayPal and go for stripe or other services.
