No, Sweetheart, a scam is a scam. And you're right. I no longer rely on Paypal as a protection or consider them completely safe for transactions, which was my point. Paypal may serve a purpose but don't count on them to be there beyond just making the transaction. That is a useful bit of information to have right up front if you are doing business, buying or selling, over the internet. Paypal is Buyer-Friendly and Seller-Friendly only in the sense that they have made a name for themselves that most people feel safer using. Again, it is a false sense of security that will only hold till the media gets ahold of the information and does a story on it. Scammers have figured out how to use Paypal to their advantage and we need to take the same precautions we would with any other credit card service and stop thinking of Paypal like a saviour of some kind for our financial transactions. It just makes you more vulnerable if you aren't aware of the possible threat.
