I have the same problem with the Chrome browser, but have tried Opera and Edge where the header is displayed as usual. I've not been able to figure out why, but it seems to be a problem with Chrome. Strangely, whilst typing this in the Chrome browser, I notice that the header has reappeared... although I suspect will disappear if I click "Summary"! ... View more

I am perfectly aware of the meaning of "volunteer", thank you. It is, in fact, you who clearly doesn't understand the implication of the title "Volunteer Advisor" which strongly implies you are working on behalf of the organisation. On the other hand, maybe you do understand what it implies and that makes you feel superior.   Whether or not you work for the company, and no matter how many "Kudos" you may have received from newbies who are still learning the basics, it still doesn't make you better than anyone else, nor does it give you the right to patronise and talk down to people who clearly (in the case of the OP of this thread) know far more than you.   You are quite correct, you needn't have bothered replying to my other post: I wasn't looking for a solution or explanation. You said nothing I didn't already know. Point 2 was due to the fact that you totally missed the point of my post. Having just read through this thread, I'm staggered at the responses given by this volunteer adviser. She clearly has no customer care skills. Sadly, it would seem that she remains with Paypal because her attitude is representative of the organisation she works for. She certainly wouldn't be working for me for very long. For what it's worth, I had a similar experience: Sold an item to a buyer in the States and duly posted by standard airmail. After less than a week and with no attempt to communicate with me the buyer raised a non-receipt dispute and imediately escalated to a claim. Once the process is escalated to a claim, there is no way for a seller to respond other than by refunding. This was so unbelievably obvious a fraud/theft, but within 24 hours Paypal had refunded and closed the case and I had no say in the matter whatsoever.   I run a small business selling things worldwide and know full well that when an item takes a long time to reach its destination (1 week to the States is no time at all!) customers will invariably contact me first.   Paypal's "dispute resolution" process makes theft incredibly easy; in fact I'd go as far as saying that it's aiding and abetting criminality. ... Similarly with me. I've been using the card with no problem for a few weeks, then yesterday it was declined at the Post Office for no apparent reason. Luckily, it would seem that no money has been taken from my account on this occasion, but it doesn't exactly instill a great deal of confidence in PayPal's product.
