I'm having the same problem. I accidentally paid for something from the wrong money source and didn't realized until I clicked the button to pay the invoice. Since I immediately realized, I told the seller and they refunded me right then. Probably only a minute ot 2 passed. Then the seller re-invoiced me so I could pay from the correct source. I got the email saying my payments were made, that I got a refund,etc but when I looked at my bank account I saw that paypal had the money that was cancelled quickly and then saw in my paypal transactions that they had a hold on my refund despite me immediately paying that seller with other money. It's really clear by looking at the transactions what was going on and I called Paypal CS tonight because they've already had my money on hold 4 days. The CS person said I had to wait 3-5 more days for my money. She went on and on from her script and was of NO help at all. This is insane since the refund happened so fast from the seller. There's no good reason to hold my money in a situation like this and I'm so angry. Angry enough that I may get rid of Paypal despite the fact I use them constantly for my business and they make a lot of money off of me. This is horrible customer service!!!!
